About Us

Owl Eye Books was started by a first time, self-published author, Mike Suarez. Mike wrote and published "Year One with Type One: A True Story of a Boy with Type 1 Diabetes" as a gift to his son Andrew, but also as a potential resource for the T1D community. Having learned so much necessary to get his first book out the door, Mike started "Owl Eye Books" to continue putting out books that he hopes will be both entertaining and educational to his readers.
